May: Mixed feelings at VIV Europe 2010
For the 4th time Kepro has participated in VIV Europe 2010 in Utrecht.
The VIV Exhibition, one of the most important exhibitions in the world on animal production and processing, was held from 20 - 22 April 2010 at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
Kepro invited her customers to visit the exhibition and to have the opportunity to discuss business strategies and market developments. The Kepro team worked hard during the months and weeks before the exhibition to ensure perfect exposure of our company and products. Furthermore there was a special program with a guided tour at our manufacturing site and several other social activities organised for our guests.
Unfortunately we faced a big disappointment a week before the VIV started. A volcano in Iceland erupted and seriously disturbed the world’s air traffic. As a result, there were not many VIV visitors, nor Kepro customers. Only 10% of the VIV visitors were from foreign countries.
With a small group of valued guests that managed to visit the exhibition, we have visited Amsterdam, Rotterdam and our production site.
For next year, we hope to catch up with many of our other customers at VIV Asia in Bangkok (March 9-11 in 2011). Of course we will also be present at the next VIV Europe!
