Kepro B.V. manufactures veterinary medicines that are sold throughout the world. The organisation was established in 1972 and currently has 13 employees working from its office in Deventer. The manufactured products are characterised by excellent quality.
Kepro is looking for an enterprising individual to fill the following position in their commercial team:
(Junior) Area - export manager
Job description:
You will be trained so that following a thorough introduction period you will be able, on your own, to take care of the export of our products. You will be the key figure between the customers and your colleagues in sales, purchasing, transport and quality control. The focus will be on advising, informing and stimulating the sales activities through optimal cooperation with the distributor.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Supporting the distribution network covering 70 countries.
- Customer relationship management and increasing turnover of existing customers in the region assigned to you.
- Making price calculations and drawing up quotations and tenders.
- Selection and acquisition of new markets and customers.
- Organising and participating in relevant seminars and exhibitions.
- Observing market developments and taking advantage of opportunities that arise.
- Willingness to travel.
Profile of the ideal candidate:
- Has completed intermediate or higher vocational education (bachelor’s).
- Minimum two year’s work experience in a commercial environment – export experience is an advantage.
- Has a commercial and enterprising aptitude.
- Has a feeling for and is interested in different business cultures.
- Has an affinity with the international agriculture sector and veterinary products.
- Speaks and writes well in Dutch, English and Spanish.
- Is enthusiastic and pragmatic.
- Is flexible and solutions-oriented.
- Is able to get on well with others, including different cultures.
- Can work both alone and as part of a team, knows how to deal with situations and can take the initiative.
- Excellent at building up customer relationships.
